WHO ARE WE ?

Our app introduces personnal and profesional networking opportunities thanks to public transport improvement and social media empowerment. The whole app is designed to enhance the social opportunities.
Professors have the same constraints as every profesionals from public and private sectors. Transportation, do the job, lunch, do the job again and tansportation again. Nevertheless, profesors have a very different sociability due to their individual work process in front of a class. There is a need to reintroduce social interactions between professors. As a consequence the users will be the professors who are seeking to improve their sociability in (public and common) transportation and directly on the campus.



Our app offers several services :

- Transportation calculation and optimization : find the most efficient ways (time, numbers of transportation) to reach the different Department's buildings

- GPS Localisation : find other professors around your position and see their availibility for a coffee break, a lunch, a meeting to work in one of the libraries on the campus

- Online scheduling : access and connect to other professors schedules to plan social meetings

- Events planning : organize events between professors to create networking and frienfly opportunities

- Online chat : discuss with your peers

- Upgrade the transportation experience : connect with other users to get the bus/tram/... together

- Profil user : find a teacher with the same hobbies you have, create and manage your groups, connect with other platforms like Youtube, Facebook, instagram to share media contents to other members


We have decided to create an app for smartphones. This choice has been made regarding two major issues. The first one is that our theme centered around mobility and IoT must include a mobile device to truly enjoy the functionnalities of our app. The second is that an app is easily purchasble on e-stores and the user does not have to buy a connected watch or another device.

HOW TO USE IT ?

We want to create a platform that gathers social media experiences on a learning community which is familiar to teachers. The idea is to gather all the application in one to enhance the user's experience and his sociability especially when the teacher is on the public transportation or is using it to explore the campus. Thanks to the app included in the app you can either meet your colleagues on the campus to get a cup of coffee, to meet for professional reasons, to get to know new people !

Our application is connected to GPS localization system which allow the users to choose the best itinerary to meet some colleagues on the campus or to take the campus transportation with some of them ! In order to synchronize all the teachers's schedules, we have created an online schedule that gathers all the information about the users who are linked thanks to their User profile. The User Profile is defined by many information from professional research projects to individual hobbies. It will create a link between teachers that is more friendly. You can also chat with your colleagues. Last but no least, you can send your position on the campus thanks to our GPS app.

To conclude, our App for smartphone is a new way to introduce sociability for teachers in the academic world and furthermore for every teacher on a big campus. Thanks to the internet of things (connection between smartphone, online schedules, computers, GPS, School's intranet, Bus companies apps..), we are able to provide a solution to enhance teachers's sociability !

  • Learning Communities : Twiducate , Edmodo, BrightSpace, Pearson, Schools and Universities Intranet. These plateforms are Learning Communities. They are efficient to develop knowledge's spreading and the relation teacher-student more than teacher-teacher relationship.

  • Social Medias : Facebook,Twitter , Youtube, Instagram. These plateforms are social medias. They are very useful to share contents and to create virtual and real links with friends.

  • GPS apps and Find your friends app : Locate your friens on Snapchat, Facebook, sharing your position on Messenger.

  • Public Transport apps : official app of your local public contractor, CityMapper, Plans...
